Visions for Central Europe was originally founded as a network of young academics from Western Europe living and working in Central Europe .Today its members share the idea of working for, in or with this region in a united Europe.There is still a lot to be done in Central Europe . People in this region still have to learn a lot to take advantage of the new environment. We want to help them to do so. We also learned a lot from the people here and want to give this to those outside. This part of Europe has a lot to offer to the world and we want to take part in realising this potential.

Having a vision means to know what the future can bring. The best way to know what the future brings is to create it.

Integrated

Central Europe is a region undergoing rapid changes. Challenges like this can not be tackled  by specialist in specific fields alone. Each of us is at least at home in two academic fields.

Being international for us is not a slogan. All of us have international personal background or   lived for several years in other countries. We are aware that differences in culture matter in business, science and politics and that "one size fits all" solutions do not work.

In Central Europe the academic community and worlds of business and politics are quite separated. Our approach is to apply academic expertise in real life. In the same way use our practical experience in our academic activities.
